Gosport Borough’s bid for Southern League premier division play-off glory is back on track after they beat Bedford Town 4-0.

And hopes of promotion at Westleigh Park remain alive after Lee Bradbury’s Hawks earned a hard-fought 2-1 win at Boreham Wood in the Blue Square Bet South.

Three consecutive defeats pushed Alex Pike’s Borough side out of the play-off spots and dented their hopes of promotion.

However, the Privett Park outfit demonstrated that they remain in the hunt after a welcome victory on home soil.

Dan Wooden, Rory Williams, Jamie Brown and Danny Smith all netted for Borough.

Eddie Hutchinson and Juan Cruz Gotta got the goals that ensure it’s all still to play for for the Hawks, with Gotta scoring the winner on the stroke of full-time.
