It’s home, sweet home for Gosport Borough as they welcome third-placed Mangotsfield United to Privett Park in the Zamaretto Southern League south west division (3pm).

Borough have lost just one home game in the league all season in stark contrast to 13 defeats suffered on the road.

‘We are very proud of our home record and want to top it off by winning our last two home games,’ said assistant manager Mick Catlin. ‘After Mangotsfield there is only top-of-the-table AFC Totton to come and both games will be tough.

‘Mangotsfield are a well-organised, hard-working team and we will have to match their work-rate if we are to beat them.

‘If we can do that then we possess the quality of players in our squad to win.

‘At home we have tended to take the game to the visitors and put them on the back foot straight away.

‘Away from home we have maybe been a little too tentative at times.’

Borough have experienced striker James Taylor back from suspension but Dave Birmingham is still banned.

Adam Wylde, who missed the trip to Paulton Rovers with hamstring problems, will face a fitness test.
