Gosport Borough endured a miserable afternoon at Privett Park, losing their Southern League encounter 2-0 to visitors Cinderford Town.

Goals either side of the break from Town’s Whittington and Sommers consigned Alex Pike’s side to defeat, and saw them booed off the pitch.

Bognor had slightly more joy in their Ryman League clash at Sittingbourne, picking up a hard-earned scoreless draw.

Elsewhere, there was also plenty of Wessex League action this afternoon, with Fareham Town going down 4-2 at Laverstock & Ford - Stock and Jones the Reds scorers.

Moneyfields, meanwhile, took three points from their match at Bemerton Heath Harlequins.

Pabs N’Doye and Steve Hutchings did the damage for Miles Rutherford’s side in a 2-1 victory.

Last, but not least, Hayling United stormed to a convincing 3-0 triumph at East Cowes Vic in the FA Vase.

Chinedu Vine grabbed a brace and Dan Martin the other for the visitors.
