Gosport Borough fought out a thrilling 2-2 draw at Whitehawk in the third qualifying round of the FA Cup.

After falling behind after just two minutes, Borough turned the tie around with two goals inside a minute late in the second half.

George Barker put Gosport level, and straight from the restart Justin Bennett put the visitors ahead.

Borough looked on course for the win until Whitehawk levelled two minutes into stoppage-time.

The two teams will replay at Privett Park on Tuesday night (7.45pm).

Goals from Marvin Morgan and Dan Strugnell saw the Hawks cruise into the next round at Aveley 2-0.

The Ryman North hosts hardly troubled Lee Bradbury’s side, who remained in control throughout.

Petersfield Town’s Cup run came to an end with a 1-0 defeat at the hands of St Albans City at Love Lane.

The visitors scored four minutes before half-time and there was no way back for the Rams.

Jason Prior and Alex Parsons both grabbed a brace as Bognor stormed to a 4-2 win over Oxford City at Nyewood Lane.
