Rory Williams fired Gosport Borough to a 1-0 win at Bath City in National League South.

Williams netted with a fine first-half strike before the Twerton Park hosts laid siege to Nathan Ashmore’s goal.

But the Borough stopper stood firm with a number of top-drawer saves to protect a fine point for Alex Pike’s play-off chasers.

Meanwhile, the Hawks drew 2-2 at Ebbsfleet United thanks to goals from Harry Medway and substitute James Hayter.
