Gosport Borough recorded a 5-3 Southern League south & west division victory over Wimborne at Privett Park last night.

Justin Bennett scored three times in an action-packed first half.

George Way and Adam Wilde were also on the scoresheet as the hosts reached half-time 5-2 in front.

But the thrilling game was overshadowed midway through the second period when Borough boss Alex Pike collapsed in his technical area.

As he was treated in the ambulance by paramedics, Gosport held on for all three points.

Pike was later allowed home.
