However, Bognor remain four points clear at the top after James Wild’s goal netted a 1-0 win over Leiston at Nyewood Lane.

‘It was a big win and a big performance – particularly after gifting them the first goal,’ said Bradbury.

‘As a team, we showed our togetherness and determination.

‘In the second half we had great pace and running off the ball which Harrow couldn’t cope with.

‘We kept knocking on the door and maintained our belief.

‘Our energy levels were fantastic and we could have won by more in the end.

‘Our aim is to try to win all our remaining games and chase Bognor all the way.

‘You could see last night how hungry the players are to win it.’

The Hawks gifted Harrow the lead with a fifth-minute defensive howler.

Ryan Woodford made a mess of a backpass, leaving L’Heureux Menga to power to the edge of the area and easily beat Ryan Young with a well-placed shot.

Both Dan Strugnell and Bradley Tarbuck sliced efforts wide from inside the area as the Hawks pushed for an equaliser.

But the hosts suffered another blow on 31 minutes when Tarbuck was stretchered off. He was replaced by Hayter.

On 38 minutes, Harrow caught the Hawks out with a counter-attack only to be halted by an offside flag.

As the half drew to a close, Brian Stock was unlucky when his 35-yard free-kick flew through a crowded goalmouth and bounced off the goalkeeper on the line.

After the break, Hayter sent an early chance wide before Fogden curled home a leveller following a determined run by Rory Williams.

There was a new urgency from the Hawks as they put Harrow under increasing pressure.

And it paid off in the 65th minute with Harris guiding a far-post header over Luke Williams in the visitors’ goal.

Jason Prior put a header on top of the bar as the Hawks went for the kill, which came on 76 minutes with Hayter nodding in a near-post cross.
