Louis Bell blamed the loss on careless defending.

‘To be fair, Romsey came and did a job on us,’ said the Baffins boss.

‘They only had four shots on goal and scored with all of them.

‘We had all the possession and should have done better with some early chances.

‘In the end we couldn’t break down the solid Romsey defence.

‘The important thing now is how the players react to this result.’

After falling behind, Louie Castles – back from a broken arm – levelled the scores.

Bob Brady felt United Services were unlucky to lose 3-2 at AFC Stoneham.

‘We didn’t play well in the first 15 minutes and conceded two goals,’ said the manager.

‘After we clawed our way back to 2-2 we were then undone when a clearance hit their attacker and looped back over our goalkeeper.
