Gosport are one win away from the first round of the FA Cup after a 3-1 victory over Bath City.

Justin Bennett, Ellis Martin and Dan Wooden goals saw Borough came from behind to defeat the Blue Square Bet South outfit in the third qualifying round replay at Privett Park.

That has set up a tie at Slough Town on Saturday, October 20 - the team Gosport thrashed 4-0 in the FA Trophy at the end of last month.

If Borough win that, they could land a Football League club in the first round proper, with the likes of Pompey, Sheffield United and Coventry all possibilities.

Gosport had to do it the hard way against Bath after falling behind in the 27th minute.

Striker Bennett levelled the scores after the break, though, before Martin put them ahead with a 30-yard free-kick.

The hosts then made sure of their place in the next stage when Wooden netted.
