The Hawks had to settle for a point in a 1-1 Vanarama Conference South draw against Maidenhead United at Westleigh Park.

After a disappointing first half, the home side found themselves trailing to a 36th-minute Dave Tarpey goal.

A rare goal from substitute Dan Blanchett early in the second half, though, earned the Hawks a share of the spoils.

The visitors had to play the final 10 minutes a man short after Leon Solomon was sent off.

AFC Portchester stretched their unbeaten run to nine Wessex League premier division games – and 11 in all competitions – with a comfortable 2-0 win over Hamworthy at Wicor Rec.

A goal either side of the break from Alex Baldacchino and Jamie Musselwhite was enough to see Graham Rix’s in-form side take all three points in a one-sided contest.

Moneyfields had Connor Bailey sent off as they crashed to a 4-0 away defeat against Wessex League premier division title rivals Winchester City last night.

Bailey saw a straight red card for a reckless tackle after 25 minutes leaving the city club with a mountain to climb.

Liam Robinson promptly netted a double, with Luke Dempsey and Warren Bentley completing the rout.

Baffins Milton Rovers returned to winning ways in the Puma Enginerering Hampshire League premier division thanks to a goal in either half at Overton United.

Strike-duo Jake Couzens and Dean Harris were on target for the league leaders in a battling display.
