THE HAWKS dumped Conference National outfit Forest Green Rovers out of the FA Trophy.

Lee Bradbury’s side grabbed a confidence-boosting 2-0 win at Westleigh Park.

Scott Donnelly’s second-half penalty broke the deadlock before James Hayter sealed the success late on.

It was also a good day in the cup for Bognor as they turned over high-flying National League South outfit Maidstone United.

Chike Kandi got the only goal of the game in the first half at the Gallagher Stadium.

Petersfield Town picked up a much-needed three points in the Southern League Central against North Greenford United.

Ollie Bailey and Howard Neighbour cancelled out Matt Riggs’ opener for the bottom-of-the-table side.

In the FA Vase, Moneyfields were held to a 0-0 draw after 120 minutes by Brimscombe and Thrupp.

That means a replay for Dave Carter’s side after an uninspiring encounter.
