Fareham Town marched on in the FA Vase with a 6-0 drubbing of Amesbury Town at Cams Alders.
Matt Parr’s Reds were too good for the side from a division below them in the Wessex League.
Wayne Boud fired a hat-trick – including two penalties – and Ashley Tattersall, Kieran Lewis and Bryn McKie were also on the mark, securing a cheque for £500 for progressing.
Fareham boss Parr said: ‘The lads were really up for it and did everything I asked of them, including not taking anything for granted.
‘The FA Cup and FA Vase are important competitions and we plan to hang on in there and see if we can put together a couple of decent runs.’
Fareham will meet Christchurch in the FA Cup at Cams Alders this Saturday while in the Vase second qualifying round they have a booked a date with Alton Town at home.
Meanwhile, Simon Woods grabbed a first-half hat-trick as AFC Portchester cruised to a 4-1 win over Hythe & Dibden at Wicor Mill.
Luke James added a second-half header to complete the tally.
‘It was game over by half-time and we went through the motions in the second half,’ said manager Glenn Bridgman.
Hayling United forced a replay by holding Verwood Town to a 2-2 draw after extra-time.
The two sides will meet at Hayling College tomorrow night (7.45pm).
Dan Martin and Alex Easton were on target for the Humbugs.
