Gosport Borough edged out Stourport Swifts in a seven-goal thriller at Privett Park this afternoon – keeping their play-off hopes very much alive.

Dan Wooden, Adam Wilde, Justin Bennett and Craig Feeney were on target in their crucial 4-3 Southern League south & west victory.

Elsewhere, the Rocks reignited their Ryman one south title hopes with a fine 4-1 victory over Whyteleafe.

And in the Wessex League premier, Moneyfields stormed to a remarkable 8-0 triumph at Laverstock & Ford.

George Gregory bagged a fantastic five goals in the victory for Miles Rutherford’s in-form side.

In the same division, Horndean beat Fawley 3-0, Hayling saw off Alresford 2-1, and Fareham won 3-2 at Bemerton Heath Harlequins.
