Rob Evans netted a first-half double to send Moneyfields on their way to a 3-0 triumph at Brockenhurst last night.
Stuart Green capped an impressive display by the Dover Road outfit after the break – making certain of another three Wessex League premier division points.
Miles Rutherford’s side raced into the lead inside a minute when a quality move led to Green picking out Evans, who flashed his shot home from the edge of the box.
Evans was close to a second as play resumed but his powerful cross-shot fell the wrong side of the post.
More pressure followed and Jake Raine had a goal ruled out for offside before Jake Slater was denied by a superb diving stop from Badgers keeper Nathan Goodger.
Brockenhurst finally sprang to life but Mark Barker’s explosive finish was somehow finger-tipped to safety by Moneys stopper Cameron Scott.
Just before the interval, the visitors doubled their advantage and it was Evans on target again.
This time he hammered home via a deflection.
The hosts came out charged up for the second half.
But the closest they came to pulling a goal back was when Cass Newton powered a shot over the crossbar.
As Moneyfields picked up the pace again, Brockenhurst defender Joe Chamberlain – under pressure from Green – headed into his own net.
However, the referee ruled it out for an earlier infringement.
But it mattered little as 10 minutes later Slater robbed his marker and sent Green clear to blast the visitors into a three-goal advantage.
In a similar move, Green looked certain to increase the lead but this time he lifted his finish over the top.
The hosts, meanwhile, looked devoid of ideas and the match ended with Moneys in dominant form.
