Gosport threw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 at Cinderford in Southern League division one south & west.

Borough looked to be cruising to a fourth win on the bounce when James Taylor netted a penalty and Justin Bennett doubled their advantage.

But two penalties from Lewis Sommers in the second half meant Alex Pike’s men had to settle for a point.

In the Wessex League premier divison, Hayling conceded in injury-time to lose 4-3 at home to Alton.

The rock-bottom side netted through Steve Black (2) and Julian Boniface but were left empty-handed.

Fareham continued their knack of scoring late on as Kirby’s 87th-minute leveller gave them a 1-1 draw with Newport IOW at Cams Alders.
