Gosport close to cash boost amid talk of former Pompey chairman’s involvement

Gosport Borough beat Lymington Town 3-0 at Privett Park to march on in the Hampshire Senior Cup.

Steffan Gaisie scored twice for Alex Pike’s men.

Adam Wilde was also on target.

Hayling and Fareham crashed out of the competition.

Steve Poulton’s Humbugs battled well but lost 4-0 to Southern League AFC Totton at the College Ground.

Fareham went down 4-1 at home to Blackfield & Langley.

Wayne Boud netted for the Reds.
