The Hawks are still searching for their first Blue Square Bet South win after slipping to a disappointing 2-0 defeat at the hands of Bath City this afternoon.

Meanwhile, Gosport Borough suffered their second consecutive loss at Privett Park as they went down 3-2 to Redditch in the Southern League premier division.

Goals from Chris Holland and Luke King proved in vain for the hosts.

Moneyfields saw their FA Cup dream end as they went down 1-0 to Newport IOW at Dover Road.

But there was better news for Bognor, who beat East Thurrock 1-0 in the Ryman premier at Nyewood Lane.

Ben Johnson was the second-half hero for the home side, netting the winner after a goalmouth scramble.
