The Hawks’ FA Cup dreams were dashed by an efficient Preston North End side who cruised to a 3-0 win at Westleigh Park tonight.

Two Callum Robinson goals in the opening half hour left Lee Bradbury’s team with a mountain to climb.

Robinson crashed home his first from an acute angle in the ninth minute and then volleyed in a Paul Gallagher cross.

Any chance of a Hawks fightback disappeared 14 minutes into the second half when former Lilywhites player Brian Stock was sent off for a second bookable offence.

Robinson then completed his hat-trick in the 81st minute from the penalty spot, after Warren Cummings was sent off for handling on the line.
