The Hawks have been drawn at home to Forest Green Rovers in the first round of the FA Trophy.

Lee Bradbury’s side, who beat Basingstoke 2-1 in the last round on Saturday, will host the National League side at Westleigh Park on Saturday, Decmeber 12.

Forest Green Rovers currently sit second in the National League – one point behind leaders Cheltenham.

Bognor, who saw off Bath City 1-0 at the weekend, travel to Maidstone United.

Hawks boss Bradbury said: ‘Last season in the FA Cup we drew the highest team left in Preston North End.

‘In the same competition this year the same happened when we drew Cheltenham Town.

‘Now we have drawn the second-highest team left at this stage.

‘At least we have home advantage in another big cup occasion.

‘It is another opportunity for us to test ourselves against a good team full of good players.

‘There will be no pressure on us because nobody apart from ourselves will give us a chance.

‘They will be expected to come and wipe the floor with us.

‘We will have to go out and make sure that we are competitive.’

Meanwhile, winger Lanre Azeez is expected to be released by the Hawks today.
