Scott Jones scored a late leveller to snatch the managerless Hawks a Blue Square Bet South point at Bromley this afternoon.

Tony Taggart missed a penalty for the Westleigh Park outfit, who sacked Stuart Ritchie this week, during an eventful first half.

Bromley, who had Liam Harwood sent off after conceding the spot-kick, took the lead in bizarre circumstances.

A header from Pierre Joseph-Dubois was prevented from crossing the line by the hand of Jake Newton.

But after consulting with his assistant, the referee awarded the goal - therefore sparing Newton any punishment.

With their numerical advantage, the Hawks dominated much of the second half without breaking Bromley down.

That was until substitute Jones headed home with 10 minutes left on the clock.
