Two quick-fire goals early in the second half sent the Hawks spinning to a 2-1 defeat against Bromley at Westleigh Park.

Ollie Palmer had ensured the hosts went into the break 1-0 up when, on his first start for the club, he poked home from Lee Peacock’s knock down.

But two Hakeem Araba goals sunk the Hawks who failed to find a way back.

Not even the second-half introduction of former Pompey striker Vincent Pericard could inspire Shaun Gale’s side.
