Ten-man Gosport Borough and North Leigh fought out a remarkable 3-3 draw at Privett Park this afternoon.

Borough stormed into an early two-goal lead in the Southern League clash, as goal machine Justin Bennett bagged a first-half brace.

Leigh’s Morgan Williams reduced the arrears after the half-time break, before substitute Steve Claridge restored the hosts’ two goal advantage shortly after.

But Borough defender Lee Molyneaux’s sending off 10 minutes from time gave the visitors all the encouragement they needed.

Andy Caton smashed home to make it 3-2, before disaster struck three minutes from time when the ball rebounded off a Borough defender and into the net to level things up.
