Moneyfields have been deducted six points by the Wessex League.

The punishment follows the Dover Road side fielding an ineligible player earlier in the season.

The club failed to get international clearance for striker Steve Hutchings, following his return from a spell in Australia earlier in their premier division campaign.

This is the second time in the space of a week that Moneys have fallen foul of the footballing authorities.

Last week they were thrown out of the FA Vase, along with Bitton, after a mass brawl broke out between the two sides.

In tonight’s game with Horndean, Moneys had to settle for a 2-2 draw at Five Heads Park.

Elsewhere, Fareham saw off Romsey 3-2 to book their place in the semi-finals of the Russell-Cotes Cup.

Meanwhile, Bognor defeated Lowestoft Town 4-1 at Nyewood Lane to move up into the Ryman League premier division play-off places.
