The Hawks suffered their 14th Blue Square defeat of the season as they went down 2-0 at Sutton United.

Shaun Gale’s side drop to fifth from bottom in the league table, after former Hawks players Leroy Griffiths and Tony Taggart scored in the first-half to increase the relegation fears at Westleigh Park.

Another former Hawk, Craig Braham-Barrett, was sent off in the second half for a second bookable offence.

In the Wessex League premier division, Hayling United drop to joint-bottom of the table after they suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of fellow strugglers Laverstock & Ford.

Meanwhile, Moneyfields stretched their unbeaten record to 13 games with a 1-1 draw against Bournemouth Poppies.
