The rain has forced a number of today’s non-league matches to be postponed.

The Hawks’ FA Trophy clash at Braintree is off because of a waterlogged pitch.

The Wessex League premier division matches of AFC Portchester v Romsey, Horndean v Lymington Town, Bournemouth Poppies v Fareham and Verwood v Hayling will also not go ahead.

Moneyfields’ game at Downton is on at the moment but another pitch inspection is likely early this afternoon.

Gosport’s Southern League premier division match at Stourbridge is all set to go, however, with little rain expected in the West Midlands until this afternoon.
