Dan Royce moved Bognor a step nearer to the Ryman League division one south title and, with it, promotion by scoring the only goal in a hard-fought 1-0 win over Whyteleafe at Nyewood Lane.
Substitute Royce struck the decisive blow on 56 minutes when he latched on to a Ben Johnson cross.
