POMPEY fans who missed out on a full 90 minute match when Tuesday’s game was abandoned will have their tickets honoured by the club.
After torrential rain struck, the match against Wycombe was called off.
The club’s board has decided to honour tickets - despite the club’s existing policy stating it will not replace tickets if a game gets to half time and is then called off.
Referee Lee Collins abandoned the match at the interval after 40 minutes of heavy rain flooded the Fratton Park pitch, making it unplayable.
Pompey’s engagement manager Micah Hall said: ‘The club’s policy states we do not replace tickets in the event of a match reaching half time, but the Board of Directors felt that we should make an exception in this case.
‘It was truly exceptional weather and the Board felt it was only fair fans should not have to pay again to see the match.’
Fans of both sides are advised that their original tickets will be honoured and will not need to be replaced. They will simply be reactivated for the rearranged fixture.
If your ticket is wet or damaged then Pompey fans should do reprint the original ticket at home if possible or if bought from the ticket office then contact the ticket office for a replacement.

Wycombe fans should contact their own club’s ticket office who will advise how to obtain a replacement ticket if needed.
All applications for a replacement ticket are subject to the provision of the original ticket or a supporting entry on the club’s ticketing database.
There are no refunds or exchange available. An entirely new match day programme will published for the rearranged fixture.
