A DEAL is being thrashed out behind the scenes between Pompey administrators BDO and Portpin.
Katherine Holland QC, of Landmark Chambers on behalf of BDO has asked Mr Justice Peter Smith for another adjournment until 3pm in order for the details to be finalised.
Her application was echoed by Hilary Stonefrost, the Walker Morris barrister appearing on behalf of Portpin.
Sir Peter agreed to the adjournment but said: ‘You only have today and tomorrow for this, and this case was awarded to me yesterday afternoon.
‘I’ve read all the papers I was required to read and I think at this point if a deal hasn’t been achieved by 3pm we will have to hear the case then.’
