Paul Cook is weighing up keeping an unchanged side for the trip to Blackpool.

There are no fresh injuries worries following Saturday’s 5-1 thumping of Barnet, ensuring the Blues boss can keep his winning team.

That would mean Conor Chaplin retaining his place up front after scoring a second goal of the season against the Bees.

But Noel Hunt is not ready to return from the groin problem which kept him out of the weekend.

Pompey’s other continued absentee is Drew Talbot, sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Blackpool

For Blackpool, Sam Slocombe is out of tomorrow night’s game.

The goalkeeper injured his groin in Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Crewe and was substituted at half-time as a consequence.

Dean Lyness, who replaced him in that game, will start against Pompey, with youngster Miles Boney moving on to the bench.

Defender Brad Potts is once more a doubt for the Tangerines, while Jack Redshaw is again missing through injury.

Jamille Matt, a thorn for the Blues last season while representing Plymouth, is pushing for a start.
