Former Pompey striker Cliff Portwood has died, aged 74.

The inside-forward, who made more than 100 appearances for the Blues between 1964-1969, died in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Portwood began his professional career with Preston, before going on to play for Port Vale, Grimsby and finally Pompey.
