The U's ground has a capacity of 9,617 and Pompey supporters will be in the South Stand at one end of the ground.It is a relatively new, covered, all-seated stand with good facilities. The entrance to the away section is reached by walking along a path through what appears to be a field.If you are travelling by road, it is as well to avoid the congestion in Cambridge city centre, so take the M11 to junction 14 and then join the A14, heading towards Newmarket. Turn off on to the B1047 '“ signposted for Cambridge Airport. At the top of the slip road turn right towards Fen Ditton. Go through Fen Ditton until you reach a T-junction, where at the traffic lights you turn right into Newmarket Road. Go straight across the roundabout (there is a McDonalds on one corner) and you will come to the stadium on your left-hand side.If you are planning on driving via the M25 Dartford Crossing remember you have to pay in advance, or by midnight on the day after you cross. This applies to both the tunnel and the bridge. There are no longer toll booths but number plate recognition cameras make sure nobody escapes the fee. Otherwise, some off-road parking is available behind the ground. To reach this, continue past the ground entrance for another 400 yards and turn left into Coldhams Lane. Cross a small roundabout and railway bridge before turning lefting into the car park.For disabled parking, call the club on 01223 566500.There are regular trains to Cambridge from London Kings Cross and London Liverpool Street.
