Carl Baker was named The News’ Pompey man of the match in yesterday’s 1-1 draw at Cheltenham.

The attacking midfielder supplied the cross to allow Michael Smith to score his first league goal of the season amd rescue a point for the Blues.

That capped an impressive game for the former MK Dons player.
