Paul Cook had no complaints with his side’s efforts after they were unable to break through against stubborn Luton Town.

Although the Blues had the better chances, Andy Awford’s team turned in a disciplined defensive showing to claim the 0-0 draw.

But Cook was still pleased with his charges.

He said: ‘I thought we were excellent.

‘As a manager, you ask your team to go out and play like that.

‘We had enough chances to win the game, in the first half especially.

‘We looked solid throughout and I felt we looked a threat going forward.

‘But, unfortunately, we just couldn’t get the goal.

‘It happens sometimes – that’s football.

‘But we take it in our stride and we move on to the next one.’
