Former Pompey player makes shock managerial switch
Former Pompey midfielder Martin Allen has been appointed Eastleigh manager.
The 51-year-old today quit Barnet to take over at the ambitious non-league side following Ronnie Moore’s departure.
Moore yesterday left the Silverlake Stadium in a shock exit and is currently being linked with the vacant Rotherham job.
Now Allen, who made 36 appearances and scored four times as a Pompey player, has moved into the hot-seat as the Spitfires strive to close down the eight-point gap for the play-offs.
