Pompey fans were presented with the opportunity to put their questions to new boss Richie Barker last night.
Almost 100 supporters turned up at Fratton Park’s Victory Bar to meet the Blues manager, who was officially unveiled on Monday.
It was the chance for Barker to mix with supporters ahead of his first game in charge against Newport County on Monday, while those in attendance were allowed to quiz the 38-year-old on a host of subjects during the one-and-a-half hour event.
Barker talked about issues ranging from his boyhood support for Sheffield Wednesday, his playing career, Pompey ambitions, views on youth and footballing philosophy as a manager.
In addition, Blues chairman Iain McInnes and counterpart from the Pompey Supporters’ Trust, Ashley Brown , ere present to answer questions from the floor, while chief executive Mark Catlin was also around.
The evening helped raise money towards the running of Pompey’s Academy.
