Paul Hardyman has been promoted into Pompey’s first-team set-up.

The former Blues left-back steps up from his Academy position following the appointment of Andy Awford as manager until the end of the season.

He will join current first-team coach Alan McLoughlin after the departure of Richie Barker and his assistant Anthony Williams today.

Hardyman made 128 appearances for Pompey after coming through the ranks at Fratton Park.
