Harry Redknapp praised his team for a job well done at Burnley.

Redknapp was pleased enough with his team as they advanced to the last 16 of the Carling Cup with a 1-0 win at Turf Moor.

David Nugent got the decisive goal after 69 minutes.

Redknapp credited his team for their professionalism.

He said: 'We've got the result and I'm happy to have got through.

'It was a bit disjointed at times but getting through is the main thing.

'It's been a good few days for us and are happy to have picked up two wins without any major problems.

'It would be nice to have a run in this competition.'
