Pompey have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Stephen Henderson.
The 23-year-old has penned a three-year deal at Fratton Park after his contract at Bristol City expired.
As first revealed by The News earlier this week, Henderson agreed to join the Blues on Monday and has been training with the club since.
But his official unveiling was delayed while Pompey agreed a compensation fee with the Robins, which was needed as the player is under the age of 24.
That has now been sorted and Henderson will look to challenge Jamie Ashdown for the number-one keeper’s spot this season.
