Pompey’s out-of-contract stars will learn their fate ahead of Scunthorpe.
Blues boss Steve Cotterill will meet all his loan players and those whose deals are coming to a close in hotel one-to-ones before tomorrow’s game.
Cotterill revealed his mind is made up about those he would like to see remain as he goes about another rebuilding job at Fratton Park this summer.
That means David Nugent, Danny Webber, Hermann Hreidarsson and Darryl Flahavan can all expect a knock at the door from their boss before kick-off tomorrow.
Loan arrivals Greg Halford, Jonathan Hogg, Ritchie de Laet, David Cotterill, Carl Dickinson and Ibrahima Sonko will also have talks with Cotterill.
And the Pompey boss was planning to speak to the younger fringe players, too.
He said: ‘My mind is made up now on everybody.
‘I will be speaking to people over the weekend.
‘When I was at Notts County – and I was going to speak to a few people or players that weren’t going to be staying – I remember going to their hotel rooms and speaking to them.
‘I actually thought that was a very good way of doing it.
‘I haven’t got too many rooms to visit this time but probably that is the way I will do it again.
‘I will be speaking to the loan players – first of all to thank them, whoever, all of them.
‘Whether they are staying, going, loan players or not loan players, it will be thanking them for their efforts this season.
‘Without their efforts we could have been in a lot worse situation.
‘I will be hoping to speak to Perry Ryan and the young lads today (Friday).’
