Pompey travel to Leicester on Saturday desperate to bring in the New Year with a valuable away win.
The Blues have only won on the road twice since March.
Their last victory came in the 1-0 win at Turf Moor on December 10, while the one before that came when Pompey last visited the King Power Stadium earlier this year.
On that occasion, David Nugent scored the winner in a 1-0 victory.
But in this latest meeting between the two sides, he’s set to line up against his former team-mates for a second time following his Fratton Park departure in the summer.
On his south coast return back November, the striker scored as Leicester managed a 1-1 draw with their hosts.
But what formation or line-up should Pompey use in order to keep their former marksman at bay this time?
Should the Blues stick to the 4-4-1-1 formation that boss Michael Appleton has adopted during his time at the club, or should he go all-out attack in order to rectify his side’s poor away form?
Alternatively, should he shake things up at the back and bring Aaron Mokoena back into the starting XI?
Doubts also remain over Dave Kitson, who hasn’t scored since the 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest back in November.
Should he stay an automatic pick up front, or would you like to see Marko Futacs given a starting place?
