Jack Maloney has been called into Pompey’s first team.
The 18-year-old winger has filled up a space in the Blues’ squad following the exits of loanees Adam Reed and James Keene.
The Isle of Wight youngster joined Pompey at the age of 10 and has been a key part of the Academy this season.
Maloney made his full Blues debut back in August for the Capital One clash with Plymouth.
Pompey caretaker manager, Guy Whittingham, said: ‘We decided this week to call Jack up to the squad.
‘We had a glimpse of him earlier this season and he’s been doing really well for the Academy.
‘He gives us something different.’
