A GOVERNMENT minister said he would help Pompey supporters realise their dream during a session in the House of Commons.

Nick Hurd, the minister for civil society, answered a question by Penny Mordaunt MP on the obstacles faced by the supporters who are trying to buy the club.

He said: ‘Let me wish the supporters of Portsmouth Football Club well in their endeavours. If there is anything our department can do to support that community, my honourable friend must let me know.’
