Aaron Mokoena has agreed his departure from Pompey.

The South African has reached a compromise agreement with the Blues to terminate his contract.

The 31-year-old had a year left remaining on his deal at Fratton Park.

But, subject to Football League and FA approval, the former Blackburn man now will be on his way.

Mokoena looks set to return to South Africa and sign for Bidvest Wits.

He made 89 appearances in three years at Pompey, scoring three goals.
