Bondz N’Gala has committed himself to Pompey after extending his current deal until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old centre-back arrived at Fratton Park on an initial one-month contract at the start of the campaign, having caught the eye of manager Guy Whittingham during pre-season.

The former Plymouth man has since become an integral part of the Blues boss’ League Two plans, making 10 appearances so far this campaign, scoring three goals.

Meanwhile, central-midfielder Gavin Mahon has also lengthened his stay at Pompey – for another month.

The 36-year-old joined the Blues last month and has made two appearances – playing in victories against Oxford in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy and Bury in the league.
