A FIFTH bid has been tabled to buy Pompey.
A UK-based group called Portco is understood to have submitted an 11th-hour application to buy the club.
The bid comes as Pompey’s administrators work through offers from Balram Chainrai’s Portpin, Pompey Supporters’ Trust, former club owner Sulaiman Al Fahim, and former Watford chief Laurence Bassini.
Portco is fronted by Scottish-born Harry Kerr, a Hibernian and Arsenal fan who owns an investment firm called Avalon.
The Portco bid is yet to be officially confirmed by Pompey’s administrators but further details are expected soon.
