Exeter have no plans for a pitch inspection today as they battle to get the clash with Pompey on.

The Grecians are doing all they can to ensure the match with the Blues takes place tomorrow.

That has included borrowing equipment from Somerset CCC to remove water from their St James Park surface.

Exeter experienced some rain overnight and the forecast is for further downpours this evening and Saturday morning.

The outfit were forced to postpone an under-21 game on Tuesday night due their pitch being waterlogged.
