Have your say

Pompey travel to Peterborough this weekend in the Championship, despite their mounting problems off the pitch, and we want your views on the game.

The re-arranged fixture was quickly pencilled in following both clubs’ early exit from this season’s FA Cup.

And it’s a game which provides boss Michael Appleton, the players and fans alike with the chance to forget about the club’s financial worries – for 90 minutes at least!

However, with Pompey’s finances looking more precarious by the day, will Appleton be able to call upon Ipswich targets Jason Pearce or Joel Ward for the game?

The duo are top of Paul Jewell’s Portman Road wishlist, and with interest in the duo intensifying, have they already made their last appearances for Pompey?

Keeper Stephen Henderson has also been linked with a move away, while Dave Kitson has reported admirers at Brighton.

Do you expect them to still be around for the trip to London Road, or do you think they’ll have a key role to play at Peterborough?

Pompey will also have to make do without the suspended David Norris, who is two games into a three-match ban.

New-signing Kelvin Etuhu replaced him in the 3-2 defeat at Cardiff on Saturday, but do you think his debut appearances guarantees him a starting place against Darren Ferguson’s side?

Whatever your views, post them below.
