POMPEY fans are urged to donate their old mobile phones to help boost the club’s efforts for survival.

Supporters can bring their unwanted handsets to Fratton Park on Saturday for the last home game of the season against Derby County. The club has teamed up with forgottenmobile.com – a mobile phone recycling company that works with charities, clubs, schools and other causes to raise money through the collection of old or unwanted phones. Fans can drop old phones in collection boxes around the stadium and in the club’s reception.

Brendan Bennett, marketing director of forgottenmobile.com, said: ‘We are extremely excited about working with Portsmouth, as it is a simple way for fans to club together and raise money for the club they love.’
