Pompey fan Andrew Bird, 67, from Yelverton, in Devon, previews the League Two clash with Plymouth...

Due to work, I have watched Pompey only twice this season – Exeter and Crewe.

However, I have yet to see them concede a goal – and will be looking for more of the same against Plymouth!

My gut feeling is the starting XI at Orient will start at Home Park, the adage that you don’t change a winning team is very relevant, in my opinion.

Plymouth Argyle have played two big defensive midfielders recently which is why I feel Amine Linganzi should start. They have two tall, strong central defenders with the turning speed of an oil tanker, we all remember Sonny Bradley.

Their danger man is Graham Carey, who is setting up the chances, particularly from set-pieces to their giants.

He also weighs in with a few goals of his own and needs to be marked heavily.

Jake Jervis, remember him, flattered to deceive. He is in the form of his life according to their fans.

Argyle have lost key members of last year’s nearly men, so like us are still getting to know each other. Most of their winning run has been against teams in the bottom half of the table.

I will be looking for Pompey to press hard from the off and not be intimidated by their bully boy tactics, we must play the ball on the ground in a fast and furious fashion.

Argyle’s fickle crowd will turn on them and I am not sure they will be able to cope with that.

I’m a big fan of Conor Chaplin and think he will cause a lot of problems of the two centre halves. I am not a fan of Michael Smith at all and prefer Curtis Main as a bench option.

It will also be a proud day for my family as my nine-year-old grandson, Matthew, will Pompey mascot.

His mum, Jacquie, is also a big Pompey supporter and will be cheering them on.
