Pompey commercial director Lucius Peart is to leave the club after four years at Fratton Park.

Peart is to take up a non-sports-based job in London and his exit has been mutually agreed with Pompey.

Often a key link between the club and Blues fans, Peart has been a popular figure during his time at the club.

Michael Brown has joined Leeds United on a one-year deal.

The 34-year-old left Pompey this summer after his contract expired and has moved to the Blues’ Championship rivals.

The midfielder did not play a part in the second half of Pompey’s 2010-11 campaign after it emerged that, along with Richard Hughes, Brown had a clause in his contract which entitled him to a new deal on wages the club could not afford if he played again for the Blues.

Danny Webber is training with Premier League new-boys QPR.

The forward was released by Pompey at the end of last season after making a recovery from a career-threatening knee injury.

The 29-year-old Webber has previously worked with Rs manager Neil Warnock at Sheffield United.

Pompey’s Championship clash at home to Barnsley has been switched for the Sky television cameras.

The match against the Tykes on Saturday, October 15, had been due to kick-off at 3pm but will now start at 5.20pm.
